Why does my scan say 'Already Verified'?
It means a single-use code has been scanned before. If you didn't scan it yourself, treat it as a warning and contact the brand or seller before trusting the product.
Can a LEGITLY code be reset or reused?
No. Single-use codes can't be reset, which is what makes them tamper-evident. Infinite Scan codes simply verify repeatedly from the start because the brand enabled it.
Is Infinite Scan less secure than single-use?
Infinite Scan still confirms the code is genuine on every scan; it just doesn't flag repeat scans. Brands choose it for products that customers re-check often.
How do I know which type my product uses?
The sticker looks the same either way. If a re-scan still shows green, it's likely Infinite Scan. When in doubt, check with the manufacturer.
What does a red 'Not in System' result mean?
The code isn't in the LEGITLY database, which is a strong sign the product is counterfeit.
