Most LEGITLY codes work once — like a movie ticket. Some brands switch on Infinite Scan, so the code works every time — like a membership card. Here’s how to tell them apart.
A unique scratch-off sticker goes on the product.
Scratch to reveal the code, then scan or type it in.
You see authentic, already-verified, or not-in-system.
One sticker, on whatever you sell.
Electronics, collectibles, sealed packaging.
Spirits, fragrances, supplements, cosmetics.
Handbags, apparel, footwear, accessories.
A green result means you’re good — and a green result on a re-scan just means the brand uses Infinite Scan. But if you got amber “Already Verified” and didn’t scan it yourself, treat it as a warning and contact the brand or seller before you trust the product.

Every scan returns one of three results.
Genuine and active. The first scan on a single-use code — or every scan on an infinite-scan code.
A single-use code scanned again. If it wasn’t you, treat it as a warning. Infinite-scan codes never show this.
The code isn’t in the LEGITLY database — a strong sign the product is fake.
